Discover what's new in Marvin this fall.

October has been all about helping you research faster and smarter. We’re making it easier for you to catch up on projects, share insights instantly, and analyze even more of your survey data. We also hosted our quarterly Product Updates Webinar. Our hosts, Annette Cardwell (VP of Marketing) and Betty Lathrop (Head of Customer Success), walked through tons of new improvements. They also gave a preview of what’s coming next.

If you missed the live event, don’t worry. We’ve got the full recording right here, plus a quick-hit list of the highlights.

What’s new in Marvin this month

Here are the new features you can start using today to streamline your workflow and share insights faster.

Come up to speed on any project, instantly

Need a high-level view of a project? Our new Deep Research template, Project Summary, scans all your project files at once. It finds key takeaways, emerging themes, and suggests next steps.

Why it matters: This is a massive time-saver. You can get a project overview without re-reading every file. Let’s say you’re new to a project or maybe you’re returning from vacation. You can use this prompt to get a summary of all recent research and be caught up in just a few minutes.

Share key insights in a single click

We’ve made it easier to get information to your team, right where they work. You can now post any meeting summary to Slack in one click. You can also share a direct link to any Ask AI answer.

Why it matters: This stops insights from getting trapped in Marvin. It makes sharing quick and keeps your stakeholders informed. Just finished a great user call? Post the summary to your team’s Slack channel instantly. Did Ask AI find a perfect quote? Share the link with your designer right away.

Import all your surveys from Microsoft Forms

Our newest integration is here! You can now bring Microsoft Forms surveys into Marvin. This works for both private and group forms.

Why it matters: You can now analyze Microsoft Forms data alongside your interviews to see the whole story in one place. No more manual importing and exporting. Marvin will automatically update responses twice a day, so your survey data is always fresh.

But wait, there’s more. (What you’ll only see in the video)

Betty previewed some of our most-requested features ever. If you want to see what’s coming, you’ll have to watch the full replay.

We don’t want to spoil everything, but here’s a taste of what Betty previewed in the video:

  • The Analyze page has a new database table view. (Our spreadsheet fans in the chat went wild!)
  • AI-powered Tagging to match your existing taxonomy.
  • A deep dive into our ISO 42001 certification, making us one of the only UX tools to achieve this new global standard for responsible AI.
  • Inviting the Marvin Bot via email to your calendar invites.
  • AI-assisted Affinity Mapping right on the Analyze page.
  • Prototype testing with our AI Moderated Interviewer.
  • A cutting-edge new version of Ask AI

There was also a live Q&A, where they answered great questions on integrations, security, and mobile. Watch the full video to get all the details.

Beyond the hype with Dscout

We teamed up with our friends at Dscout for a candid conversation between our two CEOs, leaders at the forefront of building AI for research teams.

In this high-level discussion, Prayag Narula (Co-founder & CEO, Marvin) and Michael Winnick (Founder & CEO, Dscout) shared their guiding principles, lessons learned, and their vision for the future of user-centric AI.

This wasn’t just another webinar; it was a chance to hear from two CEOs navigating these challenges right now.

That’s all for October. We’re excited to keep building with your feedback. Thanks to everyone who joined the webinar, and we can’t wait to see you at the next one! As always, let us know what you think of the new updates!
